Global Learning and OD Manager

Reporting to the Director, Global Learning & Organizational Development, this position is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and focal point in working closely with Regional HR Leaders and Business Stakeholders to determine talent needs across the legal entities.


The incumbent will also work closely with the Regional HR Leaders in the deployment of relevant global-initiated programs and work with the affiliate Country HR to execute them. The areas of focus are, but not limited to, organization culture, performance management, learning and development, succession planning and talent management agenda.

Roles & Responsibilities

Succession Planning and Talent Management

  • Roll out the annual talent review and succession planning and provide guidance to Regional HR.
  • Lead the identification and development of critical resources and high potential talents through the deployment of a talent review process that includes performance and potential assessment.
  • Develop and implement career framework/pathways that provide employees with clarity of role and competency expectations to achieve career progression in the organization.
  • Implement and maintain a contemporary performance management process.
  • Assess the development needs of identified HiPo/Talent and recommends relevant development initiatives through Individual Development Plan.
  • Develop relevant metrics to monitor effectiveness of the succession planning process.
  • Build and maintain succession plans for key leadership positions.

Learning and Development

  • Act as an internal consultant to Regional HR Leaders as well as Business Stakeholders to advice, co-create and implement developmental roadmaps.
  • Innovate and drive new forms of learning methodologies beyond the conventional methods to pique learning interest and share best practices.
  • Keep abreast of the business landscape and latest trends to pivot learning objectives where required.
  • Partner and guide Regional HR to identify strategic learning and development needs based on business requirements.
  • Support the development, sourcing and monitor the delivery of the programs and interventions in partnership with Regional HR.

Organization Culture and Engagement

  • Support the implementation of Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract, hire and retain talents.
  • Project manage EVP and work with Regional HR Leaders to drive EVP campaigns.
  • Support the development, sourcing and monitor the delivery of the programs and interventions in partnership with Regional HR.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a talent management and learning & development role or function, of which at least 3 years' experience in direct people management responsibility.
  • Results driven, analytical, strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Have experience operating in complex global or regional multi-cultural business environment.
  • Have experience in developing, manage and lead end-to-end program/project management.
  • Good understanding of team dynamism and ability to navigate professionally in matrix organization.
  • Creative thinking and ability to structure/present ideas and corresponds to organizational needs.
